JY Carbon has completed the dispatch of 100 tons of 85 mm HP graphite electrodes for a regional ferroalloy smelter in the Middle East. The order was packed in high-strength jumbo bags and loaded into containers for shipment from Qingdao Port.
Product and Application
The shipment consisted of small-diameter HP graphite electrodes with a nominal diameter of 85 mm. The product specification was prepared for the customer’s confirmed ferroalloy smelting application.
For replacement or repeat orders, diameter alone is not sufficient to establish compatibility. Grade, electrode length, nipple or connection requirements, dimensional tolerances and the applicable furnace conditions should be reviewed together before final order confirmation.
Packing and Shipment Arrangement
The electrodes were packed in high-strength jumbo bags according to the agreed shipment arrangement. Container loading was coordinated through Qingdao Port for delivery to the Middle East.
For graphite electrode export orders, packaging and container planning should consider electrode dimensions, connection protection, lifting method, inland handling and the customer’s unloading conditions. The final packing method should always be confirmed in the order documents.
